MasterTech — Terms of Service

By creating an account or using MasterTech (the "app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

MasterTech provides field diagnostic guidance, calculators, work-order tracking, and related tools for HVAC professionals. Diagnostic guidance and calculator outputs are decision support for a licensed professional — they are not a substitute for your own training, judgment, code compliance, or manufacturer specifications. You are responsible for verifying results and for safe work practices.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 17 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Certifications you enter are self-reported and unverified.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't misuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to breach the service.
• Don't upload unlawful content or infringe others' rights.
• Don't access data belonging to organizations you're not a member of.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the work data and photos you submit. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the app for you and your organization.

5. Pilot & fees

The current release is a pilot and is provided free of charge. Any future paid plans, and their terms, will be presented before you are charged.

6. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that diagnostic guidance is complete or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any property damage, injury, or loss resulting from reliance on diagnostic guidance or calculator outputs. You remain solely responsible for professional work.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change and material changes will be noted in-app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions: kaustubhdeshpande@me.com.
